Sip & Paint
A Mobile Sip and Paint Business
SHARK'S PEAK
About Us
How does this work?
This is a Mobile Sip and Paint Business. All we need is a space and we bring the party to you. We have done parties in houses, garages, barns, yards, businesses, driveways, campgrounds, and we can set up almost anywhere. We provide all the supplies to create your paintings, and we even have the tables and stools if needed.Â
You can serve whatever snacks and booze your want, or make it a BYOB party. Play whatever music you want to and the best part...you get to pick what we paint if you host the party. You will get a custom painting for your party that I will create ahead of time.
Shark's Peak...the name
How it came about
You may be wondering why in the world "Shark's Peak". Well, when trying to come up with a name for my first business I wanted it to be unique to me.
Ever since I was a kid I have been fascinated with sharks. And over the years it has kind of become my "thing". Being a girl from Wyoming this stands out a bit. Even my licence plate number is "SHARK".
That being said, the Rocky Mountains run thick in my blood so this is where "Peak" come in.
Sharks and Mountain Peaks, two things I am passionate about besides my adorable daughter.
How I got started
And the people behind my success.
All started with my mother. She is an incredible artist and being home-schooled from kindergarten through high school graduation I got to spend a lot of time watching her paint and draw everything from portraits at the county fairs to huge incredible murals in the different towns we lived in. I never took an art class but I feel as artists we come up with our own visions, technique, and style, leaning as we go. Shoot, I even learn from my students.
Both my Father and Mother were entrepreneurs and have a great business sense setting a great example for my brother and I.
My brother...well he is awesome. He too is one of the greatest entrepreneurs and hard workers I know. He has inspired me in many ways. He is a brat and a little weird but I guess this too is the job of a brother.
I would also like to give credit to Becky & Scott from Buffalo Jump formally in Cody. They had the first "sip and paint" business here and I loved attending their events. Once they pulled out of town it left a little hole in our community I had dreams to fill with a little bit of a different vision. I had a few conversations with Becky, and ultimately decided to venture on my own and make a name for myself and she was so supportive.
One of the most inspirational humans in my life is my beautiful daughter. She inspires me and motivates me to be the best version of myself. She believes me, and is an incredible little human. So kind and thoughtful. I am so proud to be her mother.
